Here are minutes from the second project meeting as a pdf file.
The third project meeting will be held on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 December at the Conference Centre Météo France.
From the airport to Météo-France: A taxi can drive you to Meteopole in about 10 minutes. Should cost around 100.00 FF. Alternatively take the airport shuttle to the stop "Allees Jean-Jaures", and then the subway (see after)
From the center of Toulouse to Météo-France: Take the subway to the last stop "Basso Cambo", then catch a bus on line number 8, check that the direction at the front of the bus is "Lycee Polyvalent", then get off at stop "METEO-FRANCE". A subway+bus ticket will cost around 7;00 FF.
At the Météo-France entrance: The meeting takes place at the International Conference Center, first building after the main gate.

The project was presented at the at WMO workshop on Dynamical Extended Range Forecasts held at Météo France, Toulouse, France 17-21 Nov. 1997: Kaas, E., A. Guldberg, M. Barfred and M. Déqué, 1997: "Project On Tendency Evaluations using New Techniques to Improve Atmospheric Long-term Simulations (POTENTIALS)". The extended abstract (7 pages) including figures can be retrieved as pdf-file here.
The project was presented at the European Climate Science Conference in Vienna on the 19-23 October 1998. The written presentation can be found here (pdf-version).
The project was presented at the at the "2th International Conference on Reanalyses" 23-27/8 1999 held in Wokefield Park, Reading, UK: Deque et al.: "Using the Nudging Technique to Drive a GCM with ERA Data". PDF-file here
The project was presented at the at the "2th International Conference on Reanalyses" 23-27/8 1999 held in Wokefield Park, Reading, UK: Kaas et al.: " Improving General Circulation Models by using Tendency Residuals as Additional Forcing". PDF-file here.
A paper on using tendency errors to tune horizontal diffusion has been accepted for publication in Tellus. The work is really part of the Millinnia project but is related strongly to POTENTIALS. A pdf-version can be found here.
A paper on flow dependent parameterisation of residual forcing in a 3 level Q-G model has been accepted for publication in Tellus: D'Andrea, F. and R. Vautard, 1999: "Reducing Systematic Errors by Empirically Correcting Model Errors", Tellus A, Accepted.
