DETECTION OF IONOSPHERIC AND FIELD-ALIGNED CURRENT PATTERNS: A COMPARISON OF DIFFERENT METHODS

Abstract. We present three methods for the detection of ionospheric and field-aligned current systems at polar latitudes on an orbit-to-orbit basis. Results from using CSC and OVH data from Ørsted for the month of December 1999 are shown.
