Research Interests

My research interests concern space plasma physics studied through active experiments and by particle simulations, and interactions of energetic charged particles with the Earth's upper atmosphere. Recent activities have included studies af atmospheric electric processes such as optical discharges in the mesosphere above thunderstorms.
