We just managed to put together a small Christmas present to the Ørsted science community: a shorter period of additional, preliminary MAG-L magnetic vector field data are now available. It is the period September 26 through October 12.
Unfortunately we have had some trouble with the ground segment in the last couple of months which has caused a significant work-load on the Control and Data Centers. Luckily we have only lost small amounts of data on this account. We hope to get the problem(s) solved soon and get on with the real work.
Also, I am sorry to say, I have no news on the generation and release of high time-resolution MAG-H data.

We have a small utility program to list essential header information
from CDF files and a skeleton file in C for retrieving data from the
MAG-H files.
